Science All around Us

 Just think about the various objects present in your sweet home. How much science can you be found in them? You will see how science is “everywhere and all”! Starting from your home itself you will realizes it is made up of and consists of materials made possible by Science and Technology. For example, a television, telephone, wall paints, fiber in the carpets, computer, air cooler, iron, pipes in kitchen, microwave, fridge, etc. Means science is essential to the structure and contents of your home and eventually your family members including you. Science not only helps to improve our lives, it also makes it more comfortable. Especially lazy person can found it easily like; i) remote will help us to start TV, ii) Scooter will help us to run fast.

“Science” is a unique word that is constantly inspired by our needs and helped by new inventions. Therefore it will remain forever young and growing more and more with our “Scientific Thinking” with the support of technology. One can see how science helps improving our life styles by looking at the changes in our home, for example telephone was replaced by mobile, floppy by CD, iron pipes by polymer pipes, wooden doors by fiber and so many other changes that we can see in our daily life.

Science helps us to understand our observations in our daily life, such as: Why sun rise? Why sky is blue? Why moon changes its shape? Why rubber band can stretch? Why kid’s diapers absorb too much water?  After understanding science behinds such phenomenon, one can cleverly use scientific principles with their own ideas to create new invention which will add more values to our society.

We must appreciate the research done by scientists, which made possible to access the things that we are using today. This includes “Materials or Medicines” might be developed 50 years ago (landline telephone) or more recent innovation (mobile by satellite reception). Science always surprise our life with new things which are mostly inexpensive, faster and simply work better. 

After reading this article, I am quite sure you will feel amused when you pay attention to what you see in our daily life and understand the science behind it. It could be either physics, chemistry, mathematics, astronomy…… list will go on!  And you will be surprised to find out how many things are around you. You can understand and learn about “Science” without even having a chapter in your school book. It will be amazing how much you can learn from talking to family members, perhaps they will be learning from you, too! Ask elders which things make life simple using science. Make a proper scientific question bank which comes in your mind and ask your teachers to find answers. I am sure that you will become scientist in future. Remember one thing, there is answer to every question, what it needs how we define the problem!  And science is always there to help us define the problems (our needs) and come with new answers in terms of Inventions to make our lives more colorful and cheerful !!!!
